Behind every successful business there is a single thought and it's that thought that grows into the business you have always wanted. With a little hard work and some dedication. Here, we show how it was done.

Just like the piece of film show above - each community needs to thrive.  We are people who have lives which effect the world around us.  Community Consultancy works with people like these and businesses, understanding each other - better...

Much of my career has been based around the community. Going back over twenty years, I had focused my life on working with support groups, including ten years working at the frontline of the NHS, talking to people in the neighbourhood, what they needed from the services they had around them and what they wanted to make them feel safer, happier and more confident about the world in which they live. I discovered that there was a lack of care, yet that wasn't the fault of the support groups they had around them, to be honest, I saw no one to blame, all I saw was a gap in the system and then aimed to fill it myself. I had was trained initially through RSA and Pitmans and gained a certificate in Secretarial Duties and Business Law.

I turned to public sector work at the beginning as a means of connecting with those who lived around me and learning more about the diverse people and extensive age range we take for granted as our community today. At the same time, I felt a strong need to not only put back into the local environment what I felt was missing from the lives of vulnerable and those facing daily challenges, but for small businesses trying to get off the ground who find the early stages of trade, an uphill struggle.

Now I consult and talk to a fast growing number of buisnesses and individuals on how their staff effect performance and vice versa.  I talk at staff meetings on stratergies regarding staff facing redundancy/long term sickness and mental health issues in the workplace. I advise companies on disabilities and how to manage their diverse community of staff more effectively.

With regards to the future of all of our businesses and the community we serve,
